In this 45 minute webinar, Terry Swanson will first present the risk factors that can lead to the development of a VLU using the WUWHS consensus document from 2019. She will look at the holistic assessment of the patient along with the assessment of the limb and wound. She will then focus on wound exudate, examining both its composition and the consequences of poor moisture management.
This will be followed by Dr Marcelo Liberato presenting case studies of patients who live with these chronic wounds, showing examples of how managing exudate can be achieved.
