When to use Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag

Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag is indicated for the management of medium- to high-exuding wounds in the sacral area–where a moist environment, exudate handling, gentle fixation and an antimicrobial action is indicated. Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag may be used on infected wounds as part of a treatment regimen under supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.

How to use Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag

Cleanse the wound with saline solution or water according to standard clinical practice. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly. Remove the release films and apply the adherent side to the wound. Do not stretch. For best results, Mepilex Border Ag’s wound pad should overlap the wound edges by at least 2 cm.

Mepilex Border Ag is intended for short-term use up to 4 weeks. For continued use, a re-assessment by a physician is recommended.
