When to use Mepilex Border Post-Op Ag

You can use Mepilex Border Post-Op Ag for exuding acute wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions, and when an antimicrobial action is needed for infected wounds. 
Mepilex Border Post-Op Ag is designed specifically for post-op use for surgical wounds and blood absorption. The Flex technology helps it stay on for mobile patients – so you can use it for surgical wounds on joints such as hips and knees  4   5   6   11.

Frequency of change

Our Mepilex Border Post-Op Ag dressing can be left in place for up to seven days – depending on the wound condition and the surrounding skin – or as indicated by accepted clinical practice.
